I had to drive into the office today, so I seized the opportunity and got up early, hoping to catch some golden hour sunlight.

Sometimes you just have to slow down.

Neuruppin is our go to “Winter Wellness & Spa” escape away from Berlin, that’s still close enough to Berlin to be a feasible extended weekend trip. This year we were lucky enough to get some snow and frost just before Christmas, allowing for some beautiful long exposure and low light pictures.

The first painted miniature of the year. A great model that forgives mistakes and allows for a really quick paint job with just a bit of wash and a little drybrushing. I messed up the legs a bit, but overall I’m more than happy with the result.
